Declaration on the obligation to inform - data protection declaration

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively based on the statutory regulations (GDPR, Telecommunication Act 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on your data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for the subsequent contract processing, the IP data of the subscriber are stored by the web shop operator within the framework of cookies, as well as the name, address and credit card number of the purchaser.

In addition, the following data are also stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: languages and language level booked by you. The data provided by you are necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data are transferred to third parties, except for the transfer of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax accountant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After terminating the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of the conclusion of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under fiscal law (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase will be stored beyond that until the expiry of the product liability (10 years).  The data processing is carried out based on the statutory regulations of § 96 para 3 Telecommunication Act as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and only you will be able to allow this in individual cases.

If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service GoogleAnalytics and ShopifyAnalytics. Cookies are used to analyse the use of the website by its users. The information generated by this is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised (e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localisation is possible. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on "Privacy Shield".

The data processing is carried out based on the statutory regulations of § 96 para 3 Telecommunication Act as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data are pseudonymised.

The user data are stored for a period of 1 month.
